Destination Madison - Bucky on Parade
Bucky on Parade was a free public art event featuring 85 life-size Bucky Badger statues throughout Madison and Dane County. Local and regional artists transformed these Bucky statues into unique works of art. Focal Flame was selected by Destination Madison as partner to document the entire project - from conception to the finale.
This process included multiple creative sessions with the Destination Madison team. Over the course of two years, the Focal Flame crew documented fabrication of the Bucky statues, the artists as they brought them to life, as well as the city of Madison’s involvement in producing this extremely successful public art project.
Over hundreds of hours of video and photo production were spent that yielded portraits of each Bucky statue, marketing content, merchandise, and the final documentary which captured the entire process.
