Event & Race Photography
At Focal Flame Photography, we understand that competition day isn't just any day. It's, well, THE day. The one you've been anticipating. "Go" day. Whether you're competing against the clock, your personal record, or your best buddy, it's a day to dig deep. A day to celebrate the power of the human spirit.
When we photograph sports events - whether we're covering 5K running races, mud runs, triathlons, bike races, or team sports - our goal is to capture YOUR moment, whether that's the "I-just-left-it-all-on-the-course" exhausted exhilaration of a finish line shot, or a wickedly funny candid of you and your friends before the competition.
After each event we serve, join our Facebook page, Twitter feed, or click here to find out when photos are available. If you made your email available when registering for the event, you may receive a custom email with direct links to images of you (if you wore a visible bib number). Photos are typically available within a few days of the event - we pride ourselves on super-speedy turnaround time. Once released on focalflamestore.com, your prints, digitals, postcards, stickers, canvases, and more are just a click away. Great for yourself, family/friends, or thank-you gifts to training partners or coaches. Need help with making a purchase from the online store at focalflamestore.com? Click here for full details.

“My goal to make sure that as many racers as possible have magazine-quality photographs available so that they can remember their season, because I consider all of the athletes to be rock stars,” says Thayer.
